Since the earliest days of the college, Smithies have rallied with classmates in celebration of their graduation year. Many classes have dynamic and extensive traditions, reaching far beyond the class colors and brass standard which are so proudly displayed at reunion.
The Smith Fund volunteers maintain steady connections with classmates through the years and across the miles, bringing news of the college and encouraging generosity which culminates each July in a gift to the college in honor of their class. Enthusiasm intensifies at Ivy Day when these spectacular gifts from reuning classes are announced.
Smith College has a long tradition of dedicated alumnae who volunteer their time to assure that their class maintains a high standard of support for the college.
