Canadian residents, regardless of country of
citizenship, should follow the instructions used
by U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Please note that Canadians do not need
to file a FAFSA. You are required to complete a CSS
PROFILE and send Smith signed copies of parent and student tax returns. Canadian
students must reapply each year for financial aid, as do U.S citizens and Permanent
Residents. Find all required forms here.
Apply for financial aid by the deadlines to qualify. Do not wait to be admitted to the College before applying for aid. International Applicants to the College who do not apply for aid by the published deadlines and prior to admission are not eligible to receive institutional aid at any time during their tenure at Smith College.
