Be sure to include the student's name and Smith College ID number on all
forms of payment and correspondence.
Electronic Check (ACH): TouchNet is a third party vendor with whom the College has contracted to provide secure online payment plans and payment processing.
Payments may be made at any time on the TouchNet site, using an electronic check (ACH) from a checking or savings account in the United States. Payments will be transferred electronically to Smith College and will update your student account in real-time. There is no charge associated with using an electronic check.
When making a payment in TouchNet, the system will show your total balance by default. You can make a smaller payment by changing the amount, however, payment in full is expected by the due date shown on your bill or late fees on any unpaid amount will be assessed.
There is a $20 fee for a returned check due to insufficient funds and a $5 fee for payment reversal if an incorrect account number is provided.

Cash Payments must be made at the Cashier's Window, College Hall. Hours Monday - Friday, 9:30-11:30 AM.
Bank Wires from a U.S. bank involve fees that range from $15 to $50 per transfer. Wire transfers
from a bank not affiliated with a U.S. bank are subject to a collection fee.
The net amount applied to the student's account will be less than the amount
of the wire transfer. Please include student's full name and Smith College ID number. IMPORTANT: Effective immediately, Smith College no longer uses Wachovia Bank for wire transfer services. All wire transfers must be sent through Bank of America. Please contact Student Financial Services for further details.
Smith College does not accept credit card payments.
