Financial aid for Smith College students is need-based and is based on the premise that students pay for the cost of education to the extent that they are able, as calculated by a federal formula and institutional policy, and that financial aid serves to supplement this effort.

All of the forms listed below are in PDF format. You can print and mail the completed form to
the CollegeBoard. The CollegeBoard will contact you with further instructions once you have completed the Profile.

You should complete and submit the FAFSA online as soon as possible after January 1. The Title IV code for Smith College is 002209. We strongly encourage applicants to opt into the IRS Data Retrieval process when completing the FAFSA. If filing the FAFSA before federal income tax returns are complete, you will need to update the FAFSA using the corrections process after your tax returns are filed.
