MERIT AID FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Smith International Scholars Program for Students from Abroad

Smith International Scholars receive a $4,000 award, consisting of a $2,000 stipend for each of two summers selected by the student from the three summers between the academic years. The program covers on-or off-campus internship experiences, either in the U.S. or abroad. Eligible students are those with passports from outside the U.S. and who have been educated in an international setting. No additional special application for this program is required. Scholars are selected on the basis of academic merit and personal achievements.

A useful website which provides some general information for international students applying for financial aid from US colleges and universities is www.edupass.com/finaid.
