REFUND POLICY FOR ADA COMSTOCK SCHOLARS

If your total grant and loan aid is greater than your billed fees, the difference will be refunded to you, unless you request that it be used for future charges, past due balances and/or other charges such as computer loans, parking fines, late fees, etc. Refunds over $100 are issued automatically on a weekly basis by Student Financial Services, beginning at the start of classes. Other credit balances will be refunded upon request.

If you have anticipated charges for the future or have a prior year balance, you can authorize us to keep all or a portion of your expected refund to pay those charges by completing a Title IV Authorization form. This authorization is generally done for the entire academic year but can be rescinded or amended at anytime. An authorization form is available upon request from SFS.

If you are eligible for a refund but your aid has not yet been credited to your account, you may be eligible for an advance. Advances of up to one half of anticipated refunds are automatically made by the first day of classes each semester. If the posting of your aid is delayed after this time, you must request an advance from SFS.
