Student employees are an integral part of the daily operation of Smith College. This guide focuses on the policies and procedures
governing the employment of all Smith students who work on-campus and at off-campus work-study jobs. The mission of the Student
Employment Office is to offer employment that supports each student's educational goals and to offer jobs that help students achieve
both professional and personal development.
There are two parts to the employment process. The Student employment Office handles all job advertising and hiring issues. Then the payroll process
(BannerWeb, timesheets, pay) is handled by Payroll & Disbursements, located in College Hall 204.
