1) American Australian Association - Australia
Fellowship Program. This program will provide up to four awards
totalling US $80,000 to outstanding Americans to pursue graduate
and post-doctoral studies and research in life and ocean sciences,
medicine or mining at world-class Australian universities
and research institutions. The awards will be given to those
American applicants who can demonstrate both academic excellence
and potential for new developments in their chosen fields
of study.

2) US National Science Foundation - The East
Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes. This program provides
175 graduate students in science and engineering with an 8-week
opportunity in June to August to study in Australia, alongside
a number of East Asian countries including China, Japan, Korea,
and Taiwan. Successful applicants will gain first-hand research
experience, become acquainted with science and science policy
infrastructure of the respective location, and importantly
initiate personal relationships that will better enable them
to collaborate with foreign counterparts in the future.

3) Charles Darwin University - Engineering
Scholarships. This program will provide international applicants
with four awards applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate
courses (Full Fee Waiver, Two Thirds Fee Waiver, One Third
Fee Waiver, $1000 Achievement). Located in Northern Australia,
Charles Darwin University provides first class services and
facilities to its residents and students, with the School
of Engineering and Logistics focusing on areas related to
renewable energy, mechatronics, physics and the tropical built
envionment. The awards will be given to those international
applicants who have an exceptional academic record.
