Introduction

All fellowship applications need a coherent thread of a beginning, middle and end, with the beginning being your background that qualifies you, the middle the rationale and convincing case for the fellowship, and the end is what you will do after the fellowship, i.e. how you will use the fellowship to benefit society.

Undergraduate research projects and collaborations with faculty help students advance in national fellowship competitions.
