Inside every great science, technology and engineering company are hundreds of women just waiting to lead. So what are we waiting for?
The need for science and technology-oriented companies to develop and retain talented women for executive leadership positions has never been greater. The problem is, most scientists and engineers are trained to be, well, scientists and engineers, not business leaders. But as more women take on highly visible management roles in all areas of the industry, they are turning to specialty resources like Smith College Executive Education to help them develop their skills - as managers, process owners, project champions, members of strategic planning teams, leaders of virtual or global working groups, and even future CEOs. Welcome to the new frontiers of science!
