We’ll get straight to the point here: Directing Innovation is an industry-first program for women in science, technology and engineering who aspire to high-level positions in their organizations. Meaning, they might not be there yet, but they are on their way – and highly motivated to achieve their goals!
Built in partnership between Smith College Executive Education and the highly respected Society for Women Engineers, this custom-designed leadership program is taught by an equally customized team of faculty who specialize in preparing women for leadership positions.

Smith College and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) have partnered since 2005 to deliver outstanding executive development opportunities for women in technology and engineering.
This intense, week-long executive leadership program features a rigorous curriculum that will build core competencies of C-level success. Through a combination of lectures, highly interactive exercises, stimulating panel discussions with successful executives and networking with high-achieving peers from across the industry, this program will provide a solid framework for changing the rules of the leadership game in favor of women who attend.
