Commencement will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. The tentative schedule below is designed to assist you in planning your weekend. Specific information about events and activities related to Commencement will be posted as it becomes available. Please note that times and events noted on this tentative schedule are subject to change.
Seniors may invite as many guests as they wish to attend commencement.

| Morning | Commencement and Ivy Day rehearsal for seniors, Junior Ushers, Sophomore Push and candidates for advanced degrees; followed by class photograph |

| Morning | The Ivy Day Awards Convocation begins with the alumnae parade and the senior procession |
| Noon | Box lunches are available for seniors and parents and guests who have purchased tickets |
| Afternoon | Commencement choral concert |
| Afternoon | President's reception for seniors, alumnae, faculty, graduate students, parents and their guests |
| Evening | Commencement concert; theatre production; senior candle-lighting ceremony; illumination of the campus; music for singing and dancing, including the traditional Sophomore Push/senior step sing on the Neilson Library steps |
| Sunday, May 20 | |
| 9:15 a.m. | Seniors begin assembling for the commencement procession |
| 10 a.m. | Commencement exercises followed by the traditional diploma circle |
| 12:30 | Lunch in campus dining locations |
| Monday, May 21 | |
| Noon | Campus residences close for seniors |
