Brian Turner received his B.A. in English from American International College and his M.F.A. in fiction, with honors, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
He co-curated the "The Hurrah Game: Baseball in Northampton, 1823–1953," an exhibit staged at Historic Northampton in 2002, and co-authored the commemorative volume that accompanies the exhibit. He is a published writer of fiction and nonfiction and a cartoonist.
