Sara Eddy earned a B.A. in English from Connecticut College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from Tufts University. She has researched and published in the field of western American literature, with a particular interest in the construction of race in the 19th century West.
Eddy teaches introductory writing classes on consumer culture and American autobiography as well as an upper-level seminar, "Literatures of the American West."
