Brian Turner is a Writing Counselor at the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching and Learning and a Lecturer in the English Department. He received his BA in English from American International College and his MFA in fiction, with honors, at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He co-curated the "The Hurrah Game: Baseball in Northampton, 1823-1953,"an exhibit staged at Historic Northampton in 2002, and co-authored the commemorative volume that accompanies the exhibit. He is a published writer of fiction and non-fiction and a cartoonist.
