Sam Scheer teaches English 399: The Teaching of Literature.  He is a high school teacher in Windsor, CT and is the author (with Rosetta Cohen) of two books on education and teaching, The Work of Teachers in America: A Social History Through Stories and Teacher-Centered Schools: Reimagining Educational Reform in the 21st Century.  He sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Modern Literature (JML).  Sam Scheer holds a BA from Bennington College and an M.Phil. from Oxford University.
