Eric Reeves took his undergraduate degree at Williams College and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. In the twenty years he has been at Smith, he has taught a variety of courses in the Renaissance and in the general area of "literary theory." He has published on many topics of a theoretical or philosophical nature, and most recently an essay on Milton's Paradise Lost.
