William Oram

William Oram, Helen Means Professor of English Language and Literature, has B.A. degrees from Yale and Merton College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. in English from Yale. He writes mostly about Spenser and other Renaissance poets, and he teaches courses in Shakespeare, Spenser, Sixteenth-Century Literature, Pastoral, Science Fiction and the teaching of literature. He is the author of The Yale Edition of the Shorter Poems of Edmund Spenser (1989) and Edmund Spenser (1997).
