Nancy Mason Bradbury teaches and studies the poetry of Chaucer, anonymous medieval romances and tales, and the writings of medieval women. She holds an AB from Smith College and a Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkeley. Her recent book, Writing Aloud: Storytelling in Fourteenth-Century England, reflects her interest in medieval literacy and orality, elite vs. popular narrative forms, and the folklore of medieval England.
