Melissa Bagg

Melissa Bagg is a Writing Counselor at the Jacobson Center for Writing, Teaching and Learning and a lecturer in the English Department, where she teaches introductory writing courses specifically designed for international students. She has a BA in Italian from Wesleyan University and a PhD in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is the author of Who 'Twas That Cut Thy Tongue: Postmodern and Hollywood Shakespeares and the Betrayal of the Adolescent Audience, which grew out of her experiences staging Shakespeare with students at the Ecole d'Humanite in Goldern, Switzerland.
