Cathy Hofer Reid earned a B.A. in psychology from Hamline University; an M.S. in early childhood education from Utah State University; and a Ph.D. in human development and family relations from the University of Connecticut.
Reid's interest include: child development; pre-service teacher education and mentoring; development of learning communities within and across classrooms; and children's self perception and understanding of themselves as learners and community members.
