Office hours: Fall 2012 M 10-11:00, F 2-3:00 Owen Thompson is a doctoral candidate in economics at the University of Massachusetts. He previously completed a master’s degree in Public Policy at the University of Minnesota, and undergraduate work at The Evergreen State College. Thompson’s primary research and teaching interests are in the economics of health, labor, and education. He is particularly interested in racial disparities in health and labor market outcomes, intergenerational mobility, and how early childhood experiences contribute to subsequent socioeconomic well being. His research has been published in the Journal of Health Economics and Public Choice.
