Mohammed Alshagawi is a Research Associate in the department of Economics and a Fulbright Fellow at Smith College for the 2010-11 academic year. He received his Ph.D. in strategic management from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, his M.S. in management and organization from the University of Colorado, Denver and his B.S. in business administration from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia.
Alshagawi's teaching interests include principles of management, strategic management, organizational behavior and managing people. His research has focused on environmental scanning, scenario planning and strategy and strategic foresight. His current research examines the challenges that face Saudi women entrepreneurs.
