Randall Bartlett

 

Randall Bartlett is a Professor of Economics and has been at Smith since 1979. Before that, he taught at Williams College, the University of Washington and Stanford University. He has also served as an economist with the Federal Trade Commission. He is the director of the Urban Studies Program and regularly teaches in the Public Policy Program. In 1993, he was awarded the all-college Distinguished Teacher Award. His most recent book was on The Crisis in America's Cities. He is currently studying urban growth policies.
