Fields: Microeconomics and Environmental Economics
The Smith College Department of Economics seeks an assistant professor to fill a full-time tenure-track, three-year appointment starting July 1, 2008. Candidates should have a strong foundation in microeconomic theory, a specialization in the field of environmental economics and an interest in participating in Smith’s interdisciplinary program of Environmental Science and Policy. The anticipated 2008-09 teaching schedule is intermediate microeconomic theory, environmental economics and a course in the ES&P Program. Smith College, a liberal arts institution, stresses excellence in teaching and research. The College is a member of the Five-College consortium with Amherst, Hampshire and Mt.
