Jina Kim
Jina E. Kim, is Assistant Professor of East Asian Studies at Smith College. Her research focuses on the cultural history of the early 20th century East Asia with primary concentrations in Korean and global modernisms, urban literature and history, comparative colonialism & post-colonialism. Her other research interests include material and popular culture from the late 19th century to the present. She is currently completing a book manuscript tentatively entitled “Urban Modernity in Colonial Korea and Taiwan”.
