One of the favorite dishes for Avocado Week was the grilled cheese sandwich loaded with avocado and fresh local tomatoes, senior Rebecca Scott's choice for her lunch.

Featured September 16-22 - Blueberries

Blueberry pie shown at King/Scales was served in many of the houses. Liz Kuok '15, Hong Kong, tasted blueberry pie for the first time in her life.

Other featured dishes were blueberry cobbler and scones (shown), plus pancakes, salads, smoothies, coffee cake, muffins, and crisp, all filled with the local blueberries.
 
Blueberry Festival  

In celebration of Blueberry Harvest, local blueberries from the Kosinski Farms in Westfield, MA, showed up in dining rooms all week. Pies, pancakes, scones, crisps, salads, smoothies, puddings and much more enhanced the menus.
