The Smith College Conference Center offers
several rooms in varying sizes to fit your event’s needs. Rooms can be combined
to accommodate larger functions or used separately as needed.
The Paradise Room: 130 seated/ 160 theater style/
200 guests standing
This room has floor to ceiling windows all along the western side with
a spectacular view of Paradise Pond and the surrounding vista. The room is ideal
for any type of meeting and offers the versatility to accommodate a variety of
set-ups. The room can also be used for a reception with food stations or a sit
down dinner. The Paradise Room has a state of the art sound system to accommodate
speakers and entertainers. Sound from the Paradise Room can be made available on
the Terrace, in the Directors Room or downstairs.
The Directors Room: 20 guests seated
This small beautiful dining room overlooking Paradise Pond is perfect for an intimate
meals, gatherings or focus groups for up to 20 guests around one large table.
The Terrace: 100 guests standing
Attached to the Paradise Room, the Terrace overlooks Paradise Pond and
Smith’s athletic fields. A perfect space for lunches, parties, the Terrace
has one of the best views in the area.
Meeting Room A: 10-12 guests seated
Meeting Room B: 5-6 guests seated
Meeting Room C: 12-14 guests seated
Meeting B & C: 18-20 guests seated
Meeting rooms are classically decorated and are perfect for social hours,
break-out rooms, dinners and meetings. Rented separately or together, these rooms
offer privacy and ease for any type of event.
The Oak Room - 64 seated/80 theatre style/ 100
standing
This room is fully equipped with audio visual equipment and is ideal for
presentations combined with a meal or without a meal. The Oak Room has stunning
views of the foliage and sunsets.
The Lounge: 25 guests with some casual seating
This room is furnished with comfortable living room furniture and is the
perfect spot for a casual meeting or gathering.
