The Smith College Club offers a variety of rooms in varying sizes in three distinct areas; the Upstairs, the Little House and the Downstairs. Please note black-out dates.
UPSTAIRS
Main Dining Room: 96 seated or 200 guests standing
This is our largest room with floor to ceiling windows all along the western side with a spectacular view of Paradise Pond. The room can accommodate 12 round tables with 8 guests at each. The room can also be used for a reception with food stations, bars and some casual seating. The Main Dining Room has a state of the art sound system to accommodate speakers and entertainers. Sound from the Main Dining Room can be made available on the deck, in the Red Room or downstairs.
Red Room: 18 guests seated
This small beautiful dining room overlooking Paradise Pond is perfect for an intimate lunch or dinner for 18 guests around one large table.
Main Dining Room plus Red Room: 114 guests seated
These two rooms are adjacent and when used together they can seat 114 guests, 96 guests at round tables and 18 guests at one large table.
The Deck: 100 guests standing
This space is best for receptions during the good weather months – September, October, March, April, May and June (with the exception of Commencement black-out dates).
THE LITTLE HOUSE
This part of the building is the original Smith College Faculty Club. It has several small quaint rooms that are perfect for small group meetings and meals.
Little House Dining Room A: 10-12 guests seated
This room is perfect for a meal or meeting with guests seated around one table.
Little House Dining Room B: 5-6 guests seated
This room is perfect for a meal or meeting with guests seated around one table.
Little House Living Room C: 12-14 guests seated
This room is perfect for a meal or meeting with guests seated around one table.
Little House B & C: 18-20 guests seated
These two rooms are adjacent and when used together they are perfect for a small social hour and dinner for approximately 10-12 guests or a meeting or meal for 18-20.
DOWNSTAIRS
Tiled Room - 56 guests seated/80 guests theatre style
This room is fully equipped with audio visual equipment and is ideal for presentations combined with a meal or without a meal.
Carpeted Room: 25 guests with some casual seating
This room is furnished with comfortable living room furniture and is the perfect spot for a casual meeting or gathering. Formal seating is not available in this room.
Tiled Room plus Carpeted Room: 125 guests standing
The Tiled Room and the Carpeted Room are adjacent and when combined they make a very nice space for a reception, with some informal seating. |
