40.		(a)		The Committee on International Students, consisting of three or more members of the faculty, one of whom serves on the Board of Admission, shall assist the Board of Admission in the recruitment and admission of all students entering Smith College with international academic credentials; advise the Office of the Dean of the College on academic and social matters pertaining to international students at the College, both graduate and undergraduate; and assist the Assistant to the Dean for International Students when necessary in matters concerning the visa requirements for these students.
(b)				A member of this Committee, normally the Chair, shall advise the Director of Graduate Study and the Director of Student Financial Services. The Chair and the member who serves on the full board of Admission shall be members of a Board of Admission subcommittee reviewing candidates with international academic credentials. Next
