THE COMMITTEE ON FACULTY COMPENSATION AND DEVELOPMENT (elected)

26.

 

(a)

 

The Committee on Faculty Compensation and Development shall consist of five members of the faculty, including at least one faculty member from each division, who serve staggered terms of three years, the Associate Provost and Dean for Academic Development (nonvoting, Chair), and a member of the Faculty Council (nonvoting), who shall be named by Council to serve as liaison between the two committees and be eligible to participate in all the business of the Committee on Faculty Compensation and Development. Elected members shall be ineligible for consecutive terms.

 

(b)

 

The Associate Provost and Dean for Academic Development (or designate) shall report to the faculty at the regular monthly meetings.

 

(c)

 

The Committee on Faculty Compensation and Development shall set policy on granting faculty members aid to scholarship and shall set policy and normally monitor the funding of internal grants for faculty development. The Committee shall advise the administration on policies regarding faculty compensation and aid to scholarship.
