Pattern: Senior Dance Concert, April 2009

This concert of original choreography in modern dance, tribal fusion, and physical theater marked the culmination of dance studies for senior dance majors and minors Meleta Buckstaff, Lila Dodge, Cyndal Ellis, Katie Green, Mayra Hernandez, Leia Mae Hickman, Elana Silverman and Christa Whitney.

MFA Thesis Dance Concert, February 2009

The annual MFA Dance Concert is always the highlight of the winter dance season. This year's event, "A Complex Notion," featured exciting new works by second–year master of fine arts candidates Audra Carabetta, Jillian Grunnah and Lona Lee.

Fall Dance Concert, November 2008

The annual concert featured the premieres of original works by Smith dance professors Susan Waltner, Rodger Blum and guest artist–in–residence Donna Mejia, as well as new dances by graduates of Smith's MFA program Cathy Nicoli and Candice Salyers, and by West African dance artist/choreographer Marilyn Sylla.
