Heather Abel

Biography

Heather Abel is a writer living in Florence, Massachusetts. She received an MFA in Fiction from the New School, and has taught creative writing at the New School and UMass Amherst. She worked as a reporter and news editor in Colorado and San Francisco. Her most recent essay, published in the anthology, "The Friend Who Got Away," was reprinted in the Sunday Telegraph and Other Words: A Writer's Reader.
