This year marks the ninth annual “Celebrating
Collaborations”. The event is designed to highlight the variety of research
and collaboration with faculty members done by Smith students. Last year Collaborations
showcased the work of 257 students, who participated in 153 presentations, with the
guidance of 106 faculty members.
Students wishing to make a presentation during “Celebrating
Collaborations” should download the 2010 Proposal Form and complete the form
electronically. Then print out the completed document and obtain the appropriate
signatures. Forms must be submitted no later than Friday, February 19, 2010, to Danielle
Ramdath, Associate Dean of the Faculty, College Hall 206. Every effort will be made
to include students who submit a completed proposal form. Please note that handwritten
forms will not be considered.
For panel or group presentation proposals,
only one form needs to be submitted. Name and contact information should be listed
for each participant.
Individual presentations should be approximately
15 minutes in length. Panel or group presentations should be no more than one hour
in length. If you need additional time, please indicate this on the form and explain
your request.
Students will be notified of the final schedule
for "Celebrating Collaborations" by mid-March.
If you have questions about Collaborations
or completing the proposal form, please contact Associate Dean of the Faculty, Danielle
Ramdath (ext 3000).
The form is a Microsoft Word document,
to be downloaded and opened. The form must be signed by the student and
the faculty member associated with the project.
