About the Event

This year marks the eighth annual "Celebrating Collaborations." The event is designed to highlight the variety of research and collaboration with faculty members done by Smith students. Last year Collaborations showcased the work of 254 students, who participated in 164 presentations, with the guidance of 116 faculty members.

The Application Process

Students wishing to make a presentation during “Celebrating Collaborations” should download the 2009 Proposal Form and complete the form electronically. Then print out the completed document and obtain the appropriate signatures. Forms must be submitted no later than Friday, February 20, 2009, to Danielle Ramdath, Associate Dean of the Faculty, College Hall 206. Every effort will be made to include students who submit a completed proposal form. Please note that handwritten forms will not be considered.

Additional Information

For panel or group presentation proposals, only one form needs to be submitted. Name and contact information should be listed for each participant.

Individual presentations should be approximately 15 minutes in length. Panel or group presentations should be no more than one hour in length. If you need additional time, please indicate this on the form and explain your request.

Notification Information

Students will be notified of the final schedule for "Celebrating Collaborations" by mid-March.
