Erika Laquer is Dean of the Sophomore Class,
the Junior Class (A-H) and the Ada Comstock Scholars. She earned her A.B. from Bryn
Mawr College and is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she
obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. Dean Laquer teaches a First Year Seminar once a year
on the history and cross-cultural study of midwifery.
Dean Laquer has taught several times in France and in
the Dominican Republic. She enjoys quilting and belongs to a book club. Dean Laquer
is also a labor doula.
To meet with Dean Laquer you may stop by during her
Walk-In Hours on Monday from 11:00am - noon, Wednesday from
2:30 - 4:00pm and on Thursday from 2:30 - 4:00pm. Call
