Dean Erika Laquer

Erika Laquer is Dean of the Sophomore Class, the Junior Class (A-H) and the Ada Comstock Scholars. She earned her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College and is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in History. Dean Laquer teaches a First Year Seminar once a year on the history and cross-cultural study of midwifery.

Dean Laquer also leads volunteer trips to a hospital in the Dominican Republic. She is very interested in women's international health and is a prenatal and labor doula.

To meet with Dean Laquer you may stop by during her Walk-In Hours on Monday from 11:00am - noon, Wednesday from
2:30 - 4:00pm and on Thursday from 2:30 - 4:00pm or contact her assistant at ext. 4930 to schedule an appointment during regular office hours, 8:30am - 4:30pm M, T, Th, F and
10:00am - 4:30pm on W.
