Erika Laquer is Dean of the Sophomore Class,
the Junior Class (A-H) and the Ada Comstock Scholars. She earned her A.B. from Bryn
Mawr College and is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she
obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in History. Dean Laquer teaches a First Year Seminar once a year
on the history and cross-cultural study of midwifery.
Dean Laquer also leads volunteer trips to a hospital in the Dominican Republic. She is very interested in women's international health and is a prenatal and labor doula.
