Dean Margaret Bruzelius

Margaret Bruzelius is Dean of the Senior Class and the Second-Semester Juniors. She became a dean in 2000. Dean Bruzelius holds a B.A. from Harvard, an A.A.S. in fashion design from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and a Ph.D. from Yale. Dean Bruzelius teaches one class per semester, usually in comparative literature, or in the English department or in film studies.

As a child, Dean Bruzelius lived in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Before starting college she spent a year living in Copenhagen as a weaver's apprentice. Her hobbies include knitting, thrift shopping, textiles and clothes -- but not really fashion.

To meet with Dean Bruzelius you may stop by during her Walk-in Hours on Monday, 9:30-11 am., Tuesday, 11 am-noon, and on Friday, 9:30-10:30 am. Call ext. 4920 to schedule an appointment during regular office hours, 8:30 am-4:30 pm M, T, Th, F and 10 am-4:30 pm W.
