CET 2008 SYMPOSIUM ON

TECHNOLOGIES
OF THE REAL & VIRTUAL WORLD

The Committee on Educational Technology (CET) and Educational Technology Services (ETS) invite you to a symposium on technologies of the classroom, and real-world and virtual environments for education. Whether you are interested in digital presentations, document cameras, digital slide trays, and ways your students are using technologies, or in gaming, Second Life, Croquet and other virtual worlds, this symposium has something for you.

Symposium events will take place over three days, from May 5th to May 7th, and are scheduled in two tracks: Jazzing up your Teaching with Technology and Exploring Virtual Worlds for Education. Each day, both tracks will offer multiple sessions that introduce various technologies and give you the opportunity to begin adapting them to your own teaching.

Please feel free to register for any portion of the program that interests you. If, however, you are one of the first 25 faculty members to register for three full-day sessions, you will receive a $200 stipend courtesy of the Dean for Academic Development.

An overview of the program is provided below. For a detailed schedule, click here. To register for one or more sessions, click here.
