CEEDS hopes to better assist students and the greater Smith community in accessing information about the environment here at Smith. Students who are living away from home for the first time may be looking for guidance on how to implement sustainable living practices in their campus homes, or alumnae may be interested in learning about what environmental initiatives Smith is leading. The Field Guide is a great place to come with these questions. It is a work in progress but we hope to continue to build it for you. Here are a few resources currently available:
[CEEDS] Magazine
Each semester CEEDS staff and interns write, edit, and virtually publish [CEEDS] Magazine, a fun and informative publication focusing on an especially relevant environmental topic. Our first issue, published in the spring of 2012, was about Sustainable Food.
Educational Pamphlets
CEEDS interns, working closely with the Office of Environmental Sustainability and Facilities, have created pamphlets which provide information on various sustainable practices of Smith.
