Career Tracks Application Now Live!
Meet with alums at work in one of three career fields on a one-day trip to New York City on Thursday, January 21:

  • Arts & Entertainment
  • Government & Public Policy or
  • Publishing & New Media

Applications are welcome from students of all class years and will be accepted on a first-come basis until Wednesday, December 2, at 4:30pm or until full.  Each track is limited to 12 students, so apply now!  For additional details about the program and to apply online, click here.

The Summer Institute in Art Museum Studies Information Session
Thursday, 11/19, 4:15pm, Campus Center 103-4
A six-week, intensive program providing the opportunity to work and study at the Smith College art museum and library, while traveling, developing life-long skills, and working in collaboration on a complete exhibition project.  Generous tuition assistance, in the form of partial and full scholarships, is available in 2010.  The application deadline is 3/12.

14th Annual European Career Fair (ECF)
Friday, 1/29 - Monday, 2/1
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Cambridge, MA An annual recruiting event, organized by the MIT European Club, that connects employers from Europe with the most talented candidates that live in the US. Registration for candidates is free and submission of resumes is strongly encouraged, so that employers can pre-select candidates for interviews prior to the fair. The deadline for submission of resumes is set for 11/23/09. Students can also just come to the fair and bring resumes for possible interviews.

New England Science Symposium
Sunday, 2/28, Harvard Medical School
An opportunity for students (particularly African-American, Hispanic, and American Indian/Alaska Native individuals) to present their biomedical or health-related scientific research.  The deadline for submitting an abstract is 12/1.
