2001 grad looking for someone to sublet my apartment, starting on or around December 1. Washington Heights studio in a building with a doorman, laundry room, bike room, gym, accessible roof with jaw dropping views, and 7 acres of grounds (including resident garden plots!) overlooking the Hudson. Area has cute bars, restaurants, organic grocer and lots of green space. Apartment is 600 sq. feet with a separate kitchen and bathroom (each with window), dishwasher, "dressing area" and 4 closets, including one massive walk in. Sublet would be for at least one year. I'm a '10 grad, currently living in Brooklyn right of the Morgan Avenue L stop in Bushwick, fortunately close to Roberta's (arguably the best brick oven pizza ever). My current roommate, also a Smith alum, is heading up to BC for law school in September, leaving one of my two bedrooms available starting Sept 1st. The lease goes through the end of next July. The rent is $825, utilities etc. usually come out to well under $100/ppn each month. If you're interested, feel free to email me at . (posted 8/9/10)
I am an '04 graduate and former Morrowite. My boyfriend and I are looking for housing in the Queens area with a preference for Jackson Heights. Although we are open to other parts of Queens and NYC. He is an attorney and I am a recent law school graduate. We'd love to find a place that has a roommate or two. We are also open to looking for a new place with others. We're respectful, neat and clean. We love foreign films, cooking and traveling! Please email me at (posted 8/3/11)
