Community College Connections 2004: June 1 to July 3

Community College Connections is a summer program at Smith College that helps talented, motivated women decide if a four-year college is right for them. The students, typically between the ages of 18 and 55, sample the academic and residential life at a liberal arts college and learn ways in which a bachelor's degree can enrich their lives. Students selected for the program take two courses, each team-taught by professors at Smith and the program partners, Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Mass.; Capital Community-Technical College, Hartford, Conn.; Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, Mass.; Miami-Dade Community College, Miami, Fla.; and Sitting Bull College, Ft. Yates, North Dakota.
