a cell phone, dial (413) 585-2490.

other electronics unattended, even for a short period of time.
- Keep your office or residence hall room door locked at all times when unattended
even when you are just down the hall, and lock your room door when you are asleep.

your OneCard or keys are lost or stolen, report this to Campus Police immediately

aid and arrange for ambulance response.

Dial 800 from a campus phone (dial 413-585-2490 from a cell phone)
- Keep windows of rooms on the lower level of residence halls locked when unoccupied
or when you are sleeping. The college provides a window stop
if requested, on each first floor and basement room for your protection. Call
Campus Police to report suspicious persons or other problems that occur during
your stay on campus.
- There are 79 emergency
phones distinguished by blue lights at various locations around campus. They
can be used for any emergency and are linked directly to the Campus Police Dispatch
Center. No dialing
is necessary.
- Do not walk alone at night, especially
in dark vacant areas, and avoid shortcuts. If you must walk alone, walk directly
to your destination on well-lighted paths. Look alert; be aware of your surroundings.
- Always park in well-lighted areas.
- Do not block fire lanes, tow zones
or park in handicapped parking spaces without a state-issued placard or hangtag.
Parking regulations are strictly enforced year round. Students should park only
in student spaces and employees should park in faculty/staff spaces. Vehicles
parked in violation of campus parking rules are subject to towing.
The Campus Police Department thanks you for your cooperation and looks forward
to serving you this year.
