The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics
Act, codified at 20 USC 1092 (f) as a part of the Higher Education Act of 1965,
is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose certain timely
and annual information about campus crime and security policies.
Annual
Crime & Fire Safety Report
Smith College publishes an annual report to meet the requirements of the Clery Act including:
- campus security policies
- campus crime statistics, including Clery act reportable crimes, campus alcohol, drug and firearms law arrests and referrals
- campus timely warning (safety alert) policy
- campus fire safety and systems policies and information
- campus residence hall fire statistics
Daily Crime & Fire Log
The daily
crime & fire log provides information on all incidents reported to Campus Police, including fire response.
