Take A Break And Take In The Action

Lounge Spaces
The Campus Center has several lounges for relaxation, informal meetings, and fun. The TV lounge, located on the ground floor, has a 42” TV and comfortable furniture for your viewing pleasure. On the main level there are two lounges. The Goldstein Lounge provides a great space for relaxing around the wood burning fireplace or sitting in a wing-back chair reading a favorite novel. The Nolan Arts Lounge offers a cozy atmosphere within the student art gallery. On the upper level there is the quiet lounge, the open lounge, and the Wilson Atrium. These spaces provide opportunities to relax or meet informally, while taking in the breathtaking views of the building or paradise pond. In addition to the formal lounge spaces, there are numerous open areas within the building to relax, rest, and rejuvenate your spirit.

Campus Center Game Room and Pub
Take a break and have some fun! Adjacent to the TV lounge on the ground level of the Campus Center, the game room is a place to play pool, air hockey, fooseball, cards, board games, or just read a magazine. This is a great place to take a break and just hang out. Every Friday the TV lounge and Game Room are transformed into the Campus Center Pub offering beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. All members of the Smith community and their guests are welcome!

Nolen Arts Lounge
The purpose of the Nolen Art Lounge is to be a space that belongs to Smith's students - a place to share ideas, laugh, talk and think. As it changes to fit the different exhibits and events it holds, the space adapts itself to the needs of the Smith community.

A wide range of groups have chosen to collaborate with the Art Lounge, from student organizations wishing to reach out to different members of the campus community, to individual artists looking for a central space to show their work. The flexibility of the space, with its adjustable lighting, moving walls and free standing pedestals allows us to constantly change the look of the Art Lounge to accommodate many different artistic mediums including two dimensional drawings or paintings and three dimensional sculpture and pottery.

Student Organizations and Activities
The nearly 130 student organizations here at Smith offer exciting learning and involvement opportunities to students. Many of the wonderful programs and activities offered in the Campus Center will be sponsored by these organizations. Whether you are interested in a movie, a lecture, a poetry slam, a dance, or a live music concert, you’ll definitely find it here! The Office of Student Activities and the Smith student organizations provide many opportunities for you to get involved, get excited, and join in on the action!
