2007-2008 RECOGNITION PROCEDURES

All organizations are required to submit a current recognition form on-line each year. This form must be completed and submitted by September 14, 2007 and will activate the organization for the current year. If information is not received by said date, the organization will not be considered active, and it will not be entitled to the privileges of an active organization, including reserving space on-campus, using SGA vehicles, the SGA office, acquiring telecommunications and copier codes for the Organizational Development Space (ODS), applying for lockable space in the ODS, participating in budget proceedings for the current semester and accessing their budget at the Student Bank and/or the Controller’s Office. If organizations miss the fall deadline they will have another opportunity in the spring to activate their organization. Spring recognition forms must be submitted by February 8, 2008.

Club Sports Teams are also required to complete the Club Sports Recognition Form Addendum, and submit it on-line each year. Club Sports are accountable to both the Athletic Department and the Office of Student Activities and must keep both offices informed of changes in the leadership.
