About Your Organization

Key Organization Positions

Expectations

All members of student organizations are expected to conduct themselves, both on and off campus, as responsible members of the academic community and to respect the rights of other citizens.

LEAP Workshops:
Organizations are required to send a representative to 4 of the 8 LEAP Workshops scheduled each semester. Organizations not represented at a minimum of 4 workshops will be fined per session that they miss. A full outline of the LEAP Program can be found in the 2008-2009 Guide to Student Organizations and Event Planning. Updates regarding the LEAP Workshops will be sent to your organization email account.

Organization Development Space and Resources:
Organizations are provided with pin numbers to photocopy and a card to print in the ODS. There is a 600 pages/year photocopying limit and 50 pages/year printing limit for each organization. The president/chairperson of each organization is held responsible for the pin numbers and accountable for any abuse of resources. The same policy is applicable for the use of the organizations’ phone pin numbers.
