Opened in August of 2003 and located in the center of campus, the 56,000
square foot facility provides students, faculty, and staff with a comprehensive environment for
social and intellectual interaction. Complementing Smith’s academic mission, the Office of
Student
Activities, the LEAP Student Leadership Program and our Student Employment Program provide and
support opportunities for learning and leadership through co-curricular involvement, volunteer
opportunities and real-life work experience. The Campus Center is perfect for informal
socializing, reading and relaxation while providing an attractive and functional atmosphere
