 The LEAP Development Series encompasses the LEAP Workshops as well the LEAP Out of Bed 4 Breakfast Series. All Organizations must attend at least four of the offered LEAP workshops and/or breakfasts each semester to remain active and recognized through the Campus Center. Any member may attend on behalf of their Organization. Organizations that do not attend at least 4 workshops will be fined at the end of each semester.
LEAP Workshops
The LEAP Workshops offer student leaders from our 130 student organizations an opportunity to share information with other organizations, providing a setting for leadership development and informal networking. Leaders of organizations are encouraged to recommend workshop topics and content. LEAP workshops are offered on a variety of days and times to allow students with different schedules many choices for their leadership experience. LEAP Workshops are open to all students across campus, regardless of their student organization involvement.

LEAP Out of Bed 4 Breakfast Registration Form
The LEAP of Bed 4 Breakfast Series offers students an alternative to LEAP workshops. Breakfasts will be held once a month on Wednesdays from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. The 4 fantastic reasons to LEAP out of Bed for Breakfast are FUSION, FULLFILLMENT, FACILITATION and FREE FOOD! Fusion; of students, staff and faculty, so we can all work together to meet our goals! Fulfillment; the act of getting things accomplished, starting here at Smith! Facilitation; organized around your concerns, so that your voice can be heard! Free Food; A hot breakfast buffet, bringing us all together and creating a casual setting for discussion!
Students attending LEAP Out of Bed 4 Breakfast sessions are asked to preregister for the session they wish to attend. You may use this form to register online!

Organizations that miss the required number of workshops, will be fined as outlined below:
First unexcused meeting:
Fine according to organization budget
$10 for budgets $0-$200
$20 for budgets $201-$500
$30 for budgets $501-$1000
$40 for budgets $1001-$5000
$50 for budgets $5001 and over
Second unexcused meeting:
Fine according to organization budget
Third unexcused meeting:
Fine according to organization budget
Fourth unexcused meeting:
Fine according to organization budget
Q. I have so many meetings as it is...why should I attend these sessions?
A. These workshops and breakfasts are leadership development opportunities for your organization. The workshops and breakfasts offer an opportunity for organization leaders to learn new skills, to voice their concerns and ask questions about issues and policies that affect them.
The importance of these workshops and breakfasts cannot be stressed enough! All organization leaders will receive advance notices of the location and times of the meetings.
