Self nominations for this award will not be accepted.

This award recognizes a student employee for their contribution to the Smith College community through their initiative, consistency, reliability and commitment to professionalism.

Consideration for recognition is based on the following criteria:

• Enrolled full-time and in good academic standing at the time of application.
• Have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
• Employed by Smith College for 8-12 hours a week.
• Takes initiative and sets an example for student co-workers.
• Dedication to professionalism.
• Exhibits creativity and reliability in the work place.
• Must have at least one letter from the supervisor, faculty/staff member who has worked with the nominee, or student co-worker who can attest to the student’s work ethic and excellence work place. Please submit this letter via email to ccevents@smith.edu.

Please provide information about the nominee above regarding their creativity and reliability, professionalism, dedication to consistent quality performance in the workplace, willingness to go beyond the call of duty, and reasons why this student deserves to be recognized with the Outstanding Student Employee Award.

Please provide a letter of support from the nominee's supervisor, faculty/staff member, or co-worker who has worked with the nominee and can attest to the nominee's work ethic and level of excellence in the workplace. It should be sent directly to ccevents@smith.edu as a word attachment.
