The Smith community comes together for events throughout the year. From the first Rally Day in 1876, to Julia Child Day and the Sherrerd Teaching Prizes, begun in 2004, the college's annual events honor our students, faculty and alumnae for their accomplishments; bring families to campus for a taste of college life; and give students an opportunity to learn, reflect or just have fun.

Showcasing students and faculty members working closely with one another on research projects of various topics, Celebrating Collaborations—on Friday, April 19 this year—is an annual event that highlights the remarkable work being done in our community.
