Angela Mills is in her third season as volleyball coach at Smith. A 1995 graduate of Amherst College, Mills was a four-year volleyball player and served as captain her senior year. Mills served as interim coach at Mount Holyoke College in 1996-97 while completing her first year of a Master's Degree at Springfield College. During the next four years, she held positions at The Stoneleigh Burnham School, Miss Porter's School and The Northfield Mount Hermon School while coaching volleyball at those schools. In 2001, she accepted a position at Trinity College (CT) and served as the head coach for three years. She came to Smith after serving as the assistant volleyball coach at Amherst College.

Mills is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the New England Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (NEWVA).
